Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing

The personal data provided by users are processed for the following purposes:

Management of the Online Sales Contract

Data are processed to ensure proper management of orders, invoicing, shipping of products, and generally to execute the sales contract or to adopt pre-contractual measures at the request of the data subject. Legal basis for processing: performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Administrative, Accounting, Fiscal and Legal Obligations

Data are processed to fulfil obligations required by laws, regulations, or Community legislation, as well as provisions issued by competent authorities. Legal basis for processing: legal obligation to which the Data Controller is subject (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Promotional and Marketing Activities

Subject to the explicit consent of the data subject, data may be used to send promotional communications, newsletters, personalised offers, or to analyse purchasing preferences for direct marketing or profiling. Legal basis for processing: freely given, specific, and informed consent of the data subject (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Anonymous Statistical Analysis

Data may be processed in an anonymous and aggregated form for statistical purposes and to improve services and the user experience of the website. Legal basis for processing: legitimate interest of the Data Controller, following a balancing test (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Categories of Data Processed

We may process categories of data such as: name, surname, address, email, phone number, payment data, shipping address, browsing data/telecommunication tools, any purchase preferences or user profile (in case of registration), etc.

Processing Methods and Retention

Data will be processed using manual, IT and telematic tools, adopting appropriate security measures (technical and organisational) to prevent loss, destruction, unauthorised access, or non-compliant processing. Data will be retained strictly for the time necessary to achieve the above purposes and in any case within the limits imposed by applicable laws (for marketing activities: for example, 24 months from consent; for accounting  until the expiry of legally applicable fiscal retention periods). After these terms, data will be deleted or anonymised.

Communication and Transfer of Data

Your data may be communicated to external entities appointed as processors or sub-processors such as shipping companies, accounting consultants, hosting providers, IT services, and marketing agencies. Even if your data are managed by providers or servers outside Europe, we ensure compliance with the same levels of protection required by European laws.

You have the right to: access your personal data; request correction or supplementation; request deletion (“right to be forgotten”); request restriction of processing; object to processing; request data portability; withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before withdrawal; lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Authority.
