Inspired by the Latin term for “globe” and the natural cycle of life, Orbis is a one-of-a-kind rug that evokes the desert landscape after a storm, where new life emerges from scattered debris. Created in collaboration with Illulian Milano, this piece bursts with vibrant colours and dynamic brushstrokes, symbolising regeneration and energy. Entirely hand-knotted in Nepal by skilled artisans, it is made of 100% Himalayan wool dyed with natural pigments, featuring a knot density of 152,000 knots/m². The rug has a 0.05 cm base and a 0.07 cm raised pattern, producing a refined three-dimensional texture. Orbis is fully customisable in size, shape, colour, and pile height, offering a bespoke design for sophisticated and modern interiors.
