Description
Designed in 1971 by the legendary Danish designer Verner Panton for Louis Poulsen, the Panthella floor lamp is a masterpiece of organic form and functional lighting. Its sculptural silhouette is unmistakably Panton, combining smooth, flowing lines with a carefully engineered light distribution that creates a warm and inviting ambience.
The white opal acrylic shade emits a pleasant, diffused glow, while the internal reflector directs the light downwards and the funnel-shaped stem softly reflects it back into the space, ensuring comfortable, glare-free illumination. The structure consists of a white-painted steel stem, with a white plastic base and top, combining visual lightness with excellent stability.
Panthella uses one E27 light source up to 53W and is supplied with a 2.5-metre white plastic cable with in-line switch. With a diameter of 500 mm and a height of 1290 mm, the lamp has a strong yet balanced presence, making it ideal next to sofas, armchairs or as an atmospheric statement in living and lounge areas.
